Why Order a Swatch?

We carry the largest collection of designer and home fabrics online and do our best to describe an item's color in each description we write. We hold each fabric to the window to observe the color in natural light. We scratch our heads searching for just the right color terms. In spite of our best intentions, we can never guarantee exact colors or color matching because of this simple fact: Variations in monitor or mobile color settings are just too wide from device to device.

This is why we strongly encourage you to order a swatch before purchasing your fabric or trim. We ship your swatches promptly so that you can touch, feel and decide on your beautiful fabric selection.

Ordering a swatch is easy and just one click away. Go to the top menu to select your favorite fabric or simply search (top right) by fabric category, name, color or brand and once you mouse over the individual fabric image, you'll see an option "Order Swatch" that will take you quickly to cart page to checkout.

Most swatches are just $1.50* and you can order up to 40 swatches. Again, we ship fast.

*Swatches for fabrics over $50 per yard and fabrics with ombre, border, and panel prints are priced at $5 per swatch.

Free Swatch Program

Remember, you can also earn free swatches! 

For every $10 you spend online for buying fabrics or sewing accessories (excluding swatches, taxes, discounts and shipping charges), you will earn 1 FREE swatch.  The maximum you can earn on any 1 purchase is 5 FREE swatches.

If you spend:

$11 on fabrics today then you will earn 1 FREE swatch

$34 on fabrics today then you will earn 3 FREE swatches

$50 on fabrics today then you will earn 5 FREE swatches

Any order over $50 will earn a maximum of 5 FREE swatches
