Black threads are intricately looped around white threads of various sizes in this stunning, medium-weight Oscar de la Renta woven fabric. Although made from cotton and rayon, this material contains a rougher texture, a stiffer drape, and a slight peek-a-boo effect. We recommend lining this fabric for comfortablility purposes. Turn this unique fabric into the perfect pencil skirt or an unstructured jacket.
Content: 80% COTTON, 20% RAYON

Cotton Tweed has Beautiful Drape
September 7, 2014
This is a weighty tweed with a slightly open weave suitable for jackets, dresses and skirts. It has a hefty drape and enough flexibility to build shape into a garment. It's nice to find a breathable cotton-rayon tweed suitable for warmer weather. Love this fabric!
Excellent for Chanel style

With it's lovely texture and open weave, this fabric is perfect for a Chanel skirt with fringe or Jacket. The fabric is easy to fringe so I plan to make my own coordinating trim too. I plan to line mine in black silk but nude silk looks great too.
