Summer, swimwear, and water go together—they just do. This means you need swimwear, and it doesn’t stop there. To look summertime fine, you need beachwear and even if you aren’t concerned about style, having some easy clothes to chuck on and off is a MUST. Check out our beachwear favorites for some major vacation-inspired looks.
The looks below are geared towards making the trip to and from any water filled summer activity a literal breeze. So think outside of the parameters that beachwear is just for the beach. For pool days and beach trips, you need pieces that are easy to get on and off, flowy, stylish, and versatile enough to be worn into a corner shop in case you forget the necessities or need to grab a bite to eat.
Opt for garments that are simple, flowy, and work with your swimsuit, especially if you’re going to be wearing them together. A bonus is making the garments with fabrics that aren’t prone to wrinkles, so if they get stuffed in your bag they won’t look like it afterward. If they do, just add some wrinkle releaser, and you’re back in business. Beachwear comes in many forms, and my favorites are below. They range in style and work for various activities.
Tops:
The Tulsi Top is cute and functional for a resort vacation and pairs perfectly with some wide-fit trousers. The Carya Shirt is effortlessly cool and is perfect all on its own.
Cover Ups:
Keep it simple with the Callisia Cover-Up or the Aralia Shawl for a quick way to conceal your swimsuit until you reach your destination.

Swimsuits:
A functional swimsuit is a favorite in my book. The Bay Swimsuit or the Reed Swimsuit Top looks like everyday clothing and doubles as swimwear.
Dresses:
Slip on the Dorian Dress, Roselle Romper, or the Coral Bell Slip Dress and you’ve got beachwear that looks cute and without being fussy.
Bottoms:
A wrap skirt is a classic beachwear garment that adds instant glamor. Opt for breathable bottoms like the Piper Shorts if you need a little less fabric and a little more function.
As much as I hate to admit it, looking like anything less than a hot mess before and after the beach is nearly impossible. However, even if nothing else looks put together, at least your outfit will! Enjoy the summer heat without sacrificing fashion. What is your favorite beachwear outfit? Leave a comment below!
