Since I began my sewing journey I resisted making anything with denim, mainly because I'm a huge denim snob. When it comes to my denim, I enjoy a soft, premium thicker fabric with a bit of stretch for comfort purposes. After countless attempts at tracking down a denim that would be perfect for this top-stitched dress, I landed on this dark blue/black Ralph Lauren stretch denim at moodfabrics.com.
