Holiday Style
As the holidays approach rapidly, I am struck by the need to decorate everything I can. From my head to my toes, I want everything covered in bows! But who has time to sew together a whole bunch of bows to throw around your home? No one, which is why I made this simple, no-sew velvet bow, which can be fashioned into everything from a head band to tree decorations. I used it as a headband and a lapel pin, but I’d love to see some other examples!

Strips of Ribbon
Instructions
First, you’ll loop the piece of 10″ ribbon around like so, making sure it doesn’t twist.

Step One
Then, you’ll loop around the other side in the same fashion, and staple or glue it together. Do this with all of the pieces of ribbon, except for the 3″ piece, which you’ll simply staple into a circle.

Step Two

Step Two Part Two
Once that is complete, you’ll take the corresponding pieces of ribbon that match in size and staple or glue them in a floral fashion.

Step Three

Step Three Completed
Last, stack the four separate pieces together, the order going 10″ ribbon on the bottom, then the 9″, then the 8″, then the 3″, and glue them all together.

Step Four
And that’s it! A pretty and simple ribbon to decorate your life with this holiday season.

Enjoy, and let me know how your ribbon comes out, and what you do with it, in the comments!
