Nothing saves time like matching separates. With all the ease of a jumpsuit when it comes to putting an outfit together, with the added bonus of comfort, suiting and separates are where it’s at for fall. Let’s dive into this trend and see how it’s being used this season!

Purchase Materials Used Below:
Cropped Jackets
The cropped jacket is the new It fashion item of 2021 and it’s perfect for that transitional weather! What is a cropped jacket, you ask? It’s simply a coat or jacket that is shortened at the waistline. This type of jacket is most often paired with high-waisted jeans, long skirts, flared pants, and even athleisure legging pants.

Pastel Shades
As summer comes to an end, one would think we might be leaving the pastel colors behind. Guess again! The pastels are staying for fall/winter, and everyone is here for it! There is something about how calming the color palette is that makes us feel marvelous. Color-blocking pastels is still a major trend that is happening, even in winter. So now get to mixing your pastels!
Pattern Recommendations:
- The Aspen Ensemble
- The Indigo Skirt
- The Stonecress Pants
- The Caladium Trench (skip the sleeves to make it a vest!)

Flared Pants
As we get closer to the fall, it’s time to bring out those jeans and pants! This year the style has changed into more loose flared pants rather than skinny jeans. In my defense skinny jeans are definitely still in, not everyone can wear baggy pants and still feel fly. Another trend happening right now is printed pants! From flowers to geometric designs, prints are the way to go.

OMG….I made a Fall pants suit that looks so much like this—cropped Setaria pattern for the suit top and Nasrin pants redux(shorter and flared) for the pants! So happy to see this trending for Fall. Thanks!
Now I just need the weather in coastal NC to cool down to wear.
Love Mood patterns!
I love the pants
