I’m trying to teach myself basic drafting after years of sewing. It helps me a lot to see the basic shapes, read construction details/steps, or sometimes just start with altering a pattern if I’m not sure whether/how to do it. Saves me a huge amount of money and frustration and, to buy nice fabric and experiment… or not feel totally devastated if it’s not perfect 😉
