Create A Beautiful Workspace
Take advantage of the time spent at home and tackle some of the projects you may have been putting off. It’s time to clean and organize your sewing and creative space! I find it easier to create in a space free from chaos and clutter. Don’t look at it as a daunting task, but rather as an opportunity to surround yourself with things to help your artistic process. Your free download includes a workspace planner that you can use as a guide to get you started. This worksheet allows you to conquer categories such as equipment, surfaces, decor, and storage. We want to make sure you don’t miss anything. Have your notes ready when you shop for items you need.

Take an Online Virtual Trip
Depending on where you live, you may now be able to visit beloved creative spaces like public gardens or art galleries. As these places are considered non-essential, we’ve lost the opportunity to draw from them creatively. If you are not able to venture out at this time, don’t worry. Some museums and botanical gardens now have virtual tours that allow you to experience them from the comfort of your own home. Use your blank mood board as a place to put all your ideas during your visit! Screen capture and print out colors and images that spark your imagination. Sketch or write down what you’ve experienced.
Inspiration is all around us, you just have to know where to look. Make the best of your circumstances and start creating again! You got this!
