Do you ever see a fabric that you love so much you’d hate to cut into it? Sometimes the best way to use a fabric is to hang it on your wall! With so many stunning home decor fabrics from Mood, it can be hard to know which would work for a project like this, especially if home fabrics aren’t a part of your usual tool kit. Let’s take a look at how you can add some of these fabrics to your unused wall space!

As far as DIY projects go, this is definitely on the easier side. There’s no glue, no extra tools or materials needed, and you don’t even need to pull out your sewing machine if you don’t want to! Tapestry frames are easy to use and simply secure your fabric between two magnetic sticks – it’s truly that straightforward.
Since I used a canvas fabric, it rips cleanly along the grain; so I was able to snip the edge with a pair of scissors and rip the remainder for a perfect square and a rustic raw edge. Ripping the fabric can cause some wrinkles, but a quick press takes them all out. Alternatively, you can give the sides of your ‘tapestry’ a rolled hem.
Mood has a mountain of home decor fabrics to choose from, so you can add this project to your To Do List no matter what your style! I strongly suggest sticking to upholstery fabrics such as canvas or jacquard as they’re both sturdy and vibrant, but there are many different options you can choose from. Which fabrics will you be framing?
