The internet has been freaking out about today’s solar eclipse and for good reason, this opportunity only comes along once or twice a lifetime. If you’re like me though, you forgot to grab some glasses to safely view it and you didn’t want to drop $100 on the paper throwaways selling on Amazon. Luckily, you can make a DIY projector in just a few minutes and have a fun and safe eclipse experience!
First, cut a 3″ hole in a piece of cardboard. (We used our handing Creative Crates!)
Cover the hole with aluminum foil and prick a small hole in the center.
Take a second piece of cardboard and tape a piece of blank white paper in the center.
Ta-da! Easy projector! Stand with the eclipse to your back and watch as it’s projected onto the paper through the tiny hole in the aluminum foil!
