Is there a particular reason why you used pinking shears on this ribbed knit fabric?
I commonly use a rotary cutter with a pinking blade, but it is not necessary. Although pinked edges can help prevent the raw edges from fraying, I also finished the edges of this top with an overcast stitch.
Love when y’all use white fabric on these so we can see all the details!
We love it too! Happy sewing 🙂
Hi
I tried the pattern with Bon Bon stretch fabric. The fold over is heavy so it is pulling the top down. Is it the fabric?
Hello, the fold over shouldn’t pull down so much. If it is still coming down after you under stitched the seam allowance to the neckline of the top, then the fabric may be too heavy for this pattern.
