I’m in a great mood today here at Mood because I asked my boss if I could give away some fabric and he said yes! How fabulous is this multicolor silk print I found in the silk department in our NYC store?
Two yards of this 45″-wide silk print will go to one lucky random winner. A $28 value.

Living in the Northwest, I as so jealous of those who can pop into a Mood store anytime. To see the designers on Project Runway have even 30 minutes pulling the bolts assures me I will visit if I ever have the chance. Thanks Mood.
I Visited MOOD for the first time this spring with my school’s fiber arts department, and I fell in love. I truly enjoyed the helpfulness of the employees and how open the atmosphere was. Now let me get started on the fabric 😉

Yes, Mood is a day trip destination for this CT sewing mommy. In addition, to the inspirational and dopamine producing visual & tactile sensations, it is a community! The staff is so friendly and helpful, willing to hoist fabric rolls, answer questions and share their personal experiences. The other customers are open to chatting in the aisles and in the sparkling clean bathroom stalls. Don’t forget the charming elevator operator!
I wish there was a Mood Fabric place here in Washington State…. 🙂

I was in New York City a couple of months ago, visiting from Kansas City, Missouri and Mood was high on my destination list. As I walked into the lobby, that day’s mail carrier looked at me with a huge smile and said “you are in the right place.” He sure knew what he was talking about. I loved spending the afternoon looking. I will be back, but in the meantime, would really love this gorgeous piece of fabric!
Coming to NYC from Nova Scotia ,Canada this fall – especially to go to Mood. Can hardly wait!

I love you MOOD!!! Every time i am in NYC I always visit MOOD and then usually have to mail my fabric home because there is no way I can fit it all in my suitcases. But that is OK because when I get home I have wonderful packages to open and lots of sewing to do with beautiful fabric that there is no way I could find at home. I love you MOOD!!! And I could sure put that beautiful length of silk to good use!!!

Meg, I’m glad that you are at Mood now. I followed your other blogs. I have yet to sew on silk too nervous to cut up such nice fabric.
