When I sat down to make something with this beautiful bright stretch cotton sateen fabric that is a dream to sew with and absolutely perfect for spring and summer, I wasn’t too sure if I wanted something that would last for the next two months or something that would carry me through the summer. Considering I’m three months pregnant with zero bump I decided to not allow this cute little dress to go to waste and make it baby friendly for months to come. This dress was made using a Mcalls pattern with the following alterations:-Added 2″ to the width of the front of the pattern-Added 3″ to the width of the back of the pattern
-Removed 8″ from the lenth of the pattern
-Added a front pleat
-Added 2 back pleats
-Added a 9″ zipper to the neck back
-Added a inverted pleated extension to the bottom of the dress
