Let’s talk NYFW F/W ‘20 Street Style. SOHO was surrounded by fashionistas and as usual, it did not disappoint so we had to go and take a major peek to share what we found. Styles that we loved from this fall made their way to the streets including beloved reptile prints, which were woven through accessories as well as overcoats galore, but let’s talk about some reinvented trends that really have us on the edge of our seats and ready for more.
Leather
Leather, rinse, repeat all F/W long with leather in sultry colors as beautiful as the autumn leaves. Welcome it into your wardrobe, whether it’s through a leather accent around the collar or an entire leather suit. Opt for vegan or organic leather, or really turn up the style dial by incorporating shiny fabrics like jersey or chiffon for a wet, liquid sheen look.

Suiting
Put your FOMO (fear of missing out) to the wayside and get suited up in a look that can be tailored for all. Suiting ruled the streets in a really big way this season and will continue to do so. Whether you’re wearing a complete neon ensemble full of color or keeping it casual with a blazer paired with jeans and sneakers you’re sure to find a way to that suits your style. Solid monochromatic sets in vibrant colors and plaid pieces in more neutral colors ways were stand out styles that we couldn’t get enough of and the fits ranged from fitted to ultra-relaxed and who doesn’t love a versatile fit!

Rugged Denim
Plaid Prattle and Tweed Talk
It was a plaid party on the streets this fashion week. Checked and houndstooth print variations also flooded the scene alongside tweed which isn’t going anywhere this coming F/W. Go from the office to an after-work meal with the girls with plaid prints that can easily be worn as full pieces or as accents. I know that this houndstooth ensemble is calling my name and I tweed it but if that’s not your cup of tea then a more subtle approach would be cropped trousers with a wide leg in any plaid print of your choosing.

Midi Moments
Walk down the streets in style but make it a midi length. Pleated skirts, slip dresses made of satin or silk, or chiffon dresses made of chiffon with bold prints are sure to make a statement while also being practical. It’s time to face it, mini skirts are all fun and games until you actually need but with midi skirts, you get style and comfort!
The NYFW street style looks for Fall 2020 were fierce and full styles fit for all. Polished pieces in neutral colors for those that keep it classic and funky fabrics and colors for those that are really gonna love the galactic theme for this upcoming fall.
