Necktie, or pussy bow, blouses have been quite literally everywhere this fall, and ever since we made the Onella Blouse last month, I’ve been wanting to sew this top over and over again. Originally made for part of a costume, we went a more fashion forward route this time around.

Purchase Materials Used Below:
- 3 yards Oceanic Blue Tencel and Wool Twill
- 3 yards Navy Tencel and Wool Twill
- 3 yards Hunter Green Tencel and Wool Twill
- 10 per shirt Italian Black Plastic 4-Hole Buttons
- MDF167 – The Onella Blouse Sewing Pattern (free download below!)
All seam allowances are 1/2″ unless otherwise stated. See chart below for sizing specifications. Note, this specific pattern is available up to a size 30.

Unlike our Onella hack a few weeks ago that skipped the front button placket, this time around we didn’t change a thing.
Personally, I love the comfy chic monochromatic look of these versions, but I also can’t wait to try a chiffon version with a contrast tie and button placket.

Will you be giving the Onella a try? Let me know what fabrics you’re planning to use in the comments below!

Can this pattern be made with a linen or cotton fabric?
Yes, it certainly could! Linen would look especially gorgeous. 🙂
Hi there. Do you supply instructions with your patterns? I just downloaded the onella blouse.
Many thanks
Nicola
Hi, Nicola! The Onella instructions can be found here. 🙂
I am trying to find the Linden Sleepwear Set, MDF232. Is it unavailable?
