Let’s make up for the lost time by getting out and looking summertime fine. Excited to wear swimsuits but not sure which styles are in or which will look best on you? There’s a style for every occasion and comfort level, so don’t be shy; put some more swimwear in your wardrobe!
Where there’s an opportunity for growth, you will find retailers filling in the gaps. Many retailers have recently expanded their offerings to include swimwear to tap into the demand of consumers. Retailers expanding to swimwear seem to be adding mix-n-match options in several styles and colorways to fit every need.
Swimsuit Styles for Summer:
Strappy Swimsuits
This includes string tops and strappy swimsuits, belted one-pieces, tie-up bottoms, and triangle bikinis with no rules.
Must-Have Features
Ribbed, shimmery, or leather-like swimsuits are eye-catching and oh-so-trendy.
Cutout Swimwear
One-Pieces with keyhole details are the star features of this trend. Crank it up a notch by including an asymmetrical strap or design through the silhouette to make this trend a homerun.
Popular Prints and Colors
Geometric, minimalistic animal prints, tie-dye/watercolor, and 70s prints like retro florals and swirly patterns are the It prints for the season, so don’t miss out on them. For colors, follow the opposite route by opting for super bold shades or understated pastels. When you can’t choose, just stick with an always safe bet: the black bikini in any style you wish.

My real prerequisite for a swimsuit is that I can actually use it to swim. Sometimes the things sold as ‘swimsuits’ are bodysuits that look good around a pool, but are ultimately useless for taking a dip. XD
I’d love to see more patterns or hacks with swim shorts! Love making sandcastles but hate sand on my buns!
I loved it! Thanks
