2. Using a straight stitch, mark and sew your darts. The back darts are optional; you can skip them and add them later if you find you need a more fitted silhouette.

3. Pin your front and back together at shoulder seams and stitch, using the stretch stitch on your machine.

4. Pin and sew the side seams, leaving an opening on the right side for the belt to go through.

5. Sew the lining pieces the same way you made the outside.

6. Fold your belts in half pin and sew, leaving the end open. Note: On the ends of the belt, use a straight stitch to get a super sharp point.

7. Use a loop turner to turn your belts right side out.

8. Place the facing right sides together and stitch using a straight stitch.

9. Fold sleeves in half and stitch along the inseam.

10. Pin and sew sleeves matching notches and side seam.

11. After sleeves are sewn in, if you want to add shoulder pads here, hand tack the shoulder pad on the shoulder seam. Then tack the ends on the cap seam.

12. Pin the belts ½’’ under the point of the skirt front. Make sure the long belt is pinned to the right side of the front skirt and the short belt is pinned to the left side of the front skirt.

13. Pin your lining to your dress, wrong sides together.

14. With the right sides together pin your facing along the outside.

15. Stitch through all three layers using a straight stitch at a 3.5 length stitch.

16. Flip facing inside and fold under the raw edge ⅜’’. Hand sew shut or alternatively, topstitch.

17. Pin a rolled hem for the bottom and hand sew.

18. For the sleeve hem, fold up the same way as you did the bottom hem.

That's a wrap! You have completed your perfect dress.
