First, since this is an unlined garment created with a stretch fabric, I strongly recommend using a stretch stitch on your regular machine or a serger.

Begin by forming your belt ties. Fold them in half along the length with the faces together, stitch along one of the short sides and long raw edge. Flip right side out, press, and set them aside for the time being.

Sew each of your darts by following the guidelines on your pattern pieces. Sew your back pant legs together at the rise and attach them to the back bodice panel at the waistband.

Attach the front bodice pieces to the back at the shoulder seams and then sew one of your collar pieces at the neckline. Face the collar and front lapels.

Sew your front pant panels together at the rise and attach to your short bodice panel at the waistline. Sew that same side seam from armscye to hem, placing one of your belt ties into the seam at the waistline.

Hem the raw remainder of your pants waistline, like you see below.

Now, sew your other side seam from armscye to hem, sandwiching your overlay in between your two pant leg panels.

Face the pant part of your overlay, like you see below, and hem your pant legs.

Sew your second belt tie at the waistline point of your jumpsuit overlay.

Form each of your upper sleeves and set them into your armscyes, lining up your notches.

Hem the bottom curved edge of your sleeve flounces and then pin each to the bottom of your sleeves, overlapping the flat portion toward the outer edge of your sleeves.
