Mood has some awesome pre-made bra straps, but if you're looking to make your own like I did, we'll start there.

Begin by attaching one end of your strap to the center rung of your lingerie slide, folding the raw edge toward the wrong side of the stretch ribbon like you see above.

Take a 2" piece of stretch ribbon and fold it through a lingerie ring with the face outward.

Feed the main part of your strap through the ring and fold it upward through the slide, like in the image below. Trim the excess ribbon so it can adjust from 12"-17".

Next, attach the inner cups of your over lay to the outer cup/upper band with the fabric faces together. I recommend using a serger or stretch stitch. Repeat with your lining.

Pin the solid end of your straps at the princess seam at the top of your bralette cups. The end with the lingerie ring gets pinned to the back upper band.

Place the right side of your lining against the right side of your overlay, sandwiching the straps in between. Sew along the top of the cups and upper band.

Take an 8" piece of stretch ribbon and stitch it to both of your straps at the back, connecting them horizontally.

Pin and sew the back overlay to the back straps and upper band like you see above. Be sure to use a stretch stitch and fold the raw edges of the lace inward towards the ribbon.

Mood has some black bra hooks, but I didn't want them to clash with the design of this garment, so I made my own with one of the bra slides by clipping the one side.

Whichever your choose, add yours with a small loop of ribbon to one of your bra cups. On the opposite cup, add only a loop of ribbon for the hook to slide onto.

Edge-stitch around the top of the cups and upper band.

Lastly, attach the lower band of your bralette along the bottom with a stretch stitch and your bralette is ready to wear!
