How to Sew The Mulberry Blouse Free Sewing Pattern:

*Use a 1/2″ seam allowance for all seams unless otherwise specified.

The instructions provided are designed to guide you through sewing the main fabric and the lining fabric simultaneously.

Step 1

Pin the darts and sew the pleats on the front blouse.

Step 2

Join front and back together to sew at the side seams.

Step 3

Sew front and back together at the shoulder seams.

Step 4

Pin and sew the sleeves at the inseam.

Step 5

Pin and sew the epaulette shoulder strap pieces, then trim the seam allowance and turn it outward.

Step 6

Mark the buttonhole placement and sew with a buttonhole-foot attachment on your machine.

Step 7

Set in the sleeve and make sure to sandwich the epaulette shoulder strap in the self fabric.

Step 8

Join the self and the lining together to sew along the neckline. Under stitch the lining to the seam allowance.

Step 9

Hand tack the shoulder pads to the lining so that they are sandwiched in between the self and lining.

Step 10

Pin and sew the sleeve opening of the self and the lining. Make sure to align your underarm seam.

Step 11

Right sides together, pin the self and the lining together to sew across the bottom edge.

Step 12

Fold in the seam allowance on each side of center back with the separating zipper sandwiched in between the layers, then top stitch the zipper.

Step 13

Sew the buttons onto the shoulders.

How to Sew The Sycamore Pencil Skirt Free Sewing Pattern:

*Use a 1/2″ seam allowance for all seams unless otherwise specified.

The instructions provided are designed to guide you through sewing the main fabric and the lining fabric simultaneously.

Step 1

Pin and sew the darts on the front of the skirt.

Step 2

Pin and sew the darts on the back of the skirt..

Step 3

Join front and back together to sew at the side seams.

Step 4

Place the waistband facing down between the self and the lining, then sew across the waistline.

Step 5

Pin and sew the self to the lining along the bottom edge.

Step 6

Pin and sew the zipper at the ½” seam allowance of the self fabric only.

Step 7

To complete the skirt, fold the ½” seam allowance of the lining back and blind stitch to the zipper tape.
