All seam allowances are 1/2″ unless otherwise stated. See chart below for sizing specifications. Note, this specific pattern is available up to a size 22.

Following the guides on your pattern, begin by inserting darts into each of the bodice and shorts panels, like you see above.

Along the curved bottom edge of the front panels, sew a rolled hem and press.

Fabric faces together, attach the panels along the neckline and armholes. Notch the seam allowance like you can see above, and then turn right side out and press.

Next, attach the back bodice to the top of the back shorts panels, and then sew the back lining along the top of the back bodice.

Insert your invisible zipper along the center back seam, starting just below the top of the bodice and going about 5"-7" into the shorts. Trim the zipper and then sew along the remainder of the shorts rise, connecting the two shorts panels.

Return to the front part of your romper and connect the two shorts panels along the front rise. Attach the bodice to the shorts with a French seam, sandwiching the front waistband in between both layers.

Attach the front and back of your romper along the side seams and your garment is starting to take shape!

Hem the bottom of your shorts and fold your straps in half, right sides together, and sew along the length. Turn them right side out, slip-stitch to the top of your bodice neckline, and press.

Lastly, fold the raw edges of the back lining inward, and slip-stitch around to finish.

There are so many incredible fabric options for this pattern! Will you be going with a fun and vibrant cotton print like this one that I used, or with you choose something more subtle?
