Great pattern! Please provide details if stretch or no stretch fabric is required, and by what amount. Your directions show “non stretch” fabric, but you also suggest fabrics that have stretch. Thanks in advance as this helps figure what size is needed.
Hi, the Ventura Sweatsuit pattern has a considerable amount of ease, so it can be made with either stretch or non-stretch fabrics that are suitable for athleisure designs. To find out the amount of fabric you will need, you can use the “shop this look” box on the top-right side of the blog post. Please feel free to email Sandy@moodfabrics.com for any other questions regarding patterns, adjustments, or yardage.
Thank you so much!
Would this work in a denim or cotton?
Hello and yes, this pattern can work with non-stretch fabrics as well!
Magnifique ensemble très réussi, merci pour ce cadeau
How much fabric would I need to make just the hoodie in a small? Is there any easy way to figure that out?
Hello, around 2 yards of fabric should be plenty for the hoodie in a size small
Is there a way to only print the size you need instead of all of them?

When you make this for men, do you have to change anything? I want to make a set for my brother as a Christmas gift (let’s be real, it’s going to take me months to actually get them finished so I’d better start way early )and I know that some kinds of clothes made for women don’t always work out exactly the same for men, especially pants. I’m a beginner sewer and since they’re meant to be a surprise, I won’t be able to have him try them on before they’re done although I was just planning to make them a bit oversized anyways.
Hello, you might just need to add an inch or two at the bottom for length but everything else should be fine.
Hi! I don’t see what size elastic in the materials. Is is 3/4″, 1/2″, or 1′? Thank you!
Hello, this project was made with 1″ elastic, but any of the other sizes will work as well.
