Prints: Florals & Conversational
There’s never a wrong time for a fun printed fabric. Trending this season (and every season): Prints Galore! While floral prints are ever-trending, Mood has got you covered with any floral fabric you can imagine. The runways are exploding with florals and figured prints in a-line styles, cropped t-shirts, more! Bold, large scale floral prints and mini mosaic styles florals are spotted from one designer to another. Wearing this style is easy to incorporate into everyday attire, so if you get your inspo from the runways, you can apply it to your life with minimal adjustments. Wear it with sheer blouses paired with blazers, sweatshirts or sweaters (the collar poking out), and wide-leg trousers.

Knits: Fleece Knits & French Terry
Keeping cozy is a necessity, and knits o’ plenty are suitable for the job. Knitwear is popular due to its durability and usually quite stretchy nature. Knits go beyond comfy sweaters. Popular fabrics are fleece and terry style knits. On the runway, terry cloth jumpsuits and rompers are hot ticket items. Knitted skirts co-ords of belted varieties, longline cardigans, and outerwear made of quality materials are another runway staple. Sweaters are a popular way to sport knitwear from day-to-day. This season chunky knits with statement sleeves paired with a high neck or roll neck are go-to styles. Popular knit colors are bright or neutral! Vests and jumper dresses are other ways to rock knits seen on the runway.
Pattern Suggestions:
Denim
Easy to style and easily found from one wardrobe to another: denim is near and dear to hearts around the world, and our customers think the same. We recently added mounds of denim to our website, so go ahead and indulge. Baggy jeans appeared on the Gucci and Saint Laurent runways in a 90’s revival kind of way. White denim is another hot trend seen in jeans, boilersuits, and more! A little more eclectic way denim is being worn is in double layers. I suppose the only thing better than the perfect denim jacket is two (I don’t make the trends, I observe them). Wearable denim is most popular in high and low rises and baggier fits like mom style, straight leg, and flare. Asymmetric hems are another fun way to wear denim– Try a denim skirt for size or maybe a denim overcoat with asymmetric zip!
Pattern Recommendations:
Silk
At Mood, we love silk, and our customers must feel the same way since they’re searching for it. It’s smooth, luxurious, and boasting with a glorious sheen, so what’s not to love? Body skimming silk wedding style dresses with cutouts and rhinestone trimming appeared on the fall runways, and the looks were truly to die for! Silk for every day is best suited for slip dresses and skirts. Layer them with sweaters, jackets, tights, and thigh-high boots for a high fashion look that doesn’t take much effort.
Pattern Recommendations:
Shirting
Shirting lives many lives, and it’s a wardrobe essential that you’ll be able to use over and over, and by the looks of it, our customers think the same thing. If an oversized button-down with ties on the sleeves or matching shirt and fitted vest set suits the runway models better than you, don’t worry, we’ve got some ideas to make this trend wearable for everyone. Try drawstring sleeves or a button-down dress for size, paired with denim or tights and thigh-high boots. If you’re making a knit vest from above, then a button-down will easily layer under it, and you can style it tucked or untucked for a personalized look that’s all your own.
