Spring 2019 was bursting with… neutrals? Although many collections including the bright, bold colors we expect to see on the runway, the most popular shades were more suited to business than pleasure. Let’s take a look at the colors that made their way down the runway this season.
Beige
Beige, taupe, khaki, whatever you call it, this professional color was popping on the runway. A.W.A.K.E. features a looser suit, while Acne Studios kept it tightly together. Celine and Max Mara both utilized beige for trench coats, and See by Chloe designed a sweat suit too sweet to exercise in.

Black
Designers went back to basics with black for Spring 2019. A. F. Vandevorst showed short suit set paired with a lovely veil, and A.P.C. paired corduroy with velvet in an all-black ensemble. Adam Lippes featured a long tunic paired with palazzo pants, while Max Mara and Tibi showed matching skirt sets.

Bold Colors
Bold, bright colors broke the beige and black mold on the runway this season. A Peace Treaty and Acne Studios showed striking red garments, while Aalto went with an orange suit. A.L.C. featured beautiful bright yellow pants, and Ace & Jig showed a lovely blue plaid ensemble.

Neon
Some designers dialed their bright, bold colors up a notch with neons. Galvan and A.L.C. favored yellow neon, while Milly sported a shocking sherbert. Chromat featured a neon pink bikini that was absolutely stunning.
Step it up a notch with neon:
White
Designers have decked their models in white this season. A.P.C. and A.W.A.K.E. showed lovely dresses in white, while Audra showed a dress that was above and beyond with stunning sleeves and a tied waist. Acne Studios presented trousers and a taught top, and Adeam showed a lovely, off-the-shoulder blouse paired with, you guessed it, stark white cigarette pants.
