HOW TO CARE FOR WOOL FABRICS:
Dry-cleaning is recommended, though some wools can take hand washing. Always test a swatch first if you are going to care for your wool fabrics at home rather than using a drycleaner. Many of the fine wools Mood sells online and in-store have already been "sponged," or preshrunk, but you can preshrink your wool if necessary. Mood recommends taking your uncut wool fabric to the drycleaners and asking them to steam it for you, which will safely preshrink it more effectively than you can using home methods. These care instructions given are for Wool Fabrics in general, however, Mood Fabrics does not accept responsibility for fabrics that are incorrectly laundered/damaged by following these instructions. Customers must test a swatch before laundering any fabrics at home to avoid damaging the goods. |

Not your ordinary game of chess, our Italian Stucco and Alfalfa Basketweave Wool Tweed stands above the rest! Offering a crisp hand and fuzzy surface, this woven prefers structured applications versus draped, and with a thin hand, the chocolate-brown and ivory squares seemingly dance in a playful, dizzying way. Extend your work wardrobe into single or double-breasted suits with matching vests; pull on a pair of tailored trousers or flat-front pants; opt for trendy blazer dresses or boyfriend jackets, plus more. Excite warmth through countless coating silhouettes too: Bundle up in a double-breasted coat; keep it cheery in a morning coat, or take on countless others. Whichever you may choose, consider incorporating a high-quality lining for comfort, dimensional stability, and aid in preventing the fine yarns from unraveling at the seams. Of a heavy weight and opaque, lining your garment is left up to personal preference; though, we suggest finishing off seams with pinking shears or zig-zag stitches regardless. To complete your design, be sure to check out our array of blazer buttons too!
