Many of the fine wools Mood sells online and in-store have already been "sponged," or preshrunk, but you can preshrink your wool if necessary. Mood recommends taking your uncut wool fabric to the drycleaners and asking them to steam it for you, which will safely preshrink it more effectively than you can using home methods. These care instructions given are for Wool Fabrics in general, however, Mood Fabrics does not accept responsibility for fabrics that are incorrectly laundered/damaged by following these instructions. Being wrinkle resistant while owning a decent drape, the short nap on the face pairs well with the knit backing for an overall textured-but-soft feel. A plaid pattern is made up by 3” elephant-gray squares that are framed by trios of jet-black lines, then, further divided into quads by singular strands of peacock-blue. Transform the medium-heavy weight fabric into structured blazers, knee-length coats with leather buttons, or show off some leg with a miniskirt. The modest, yet gracious stretch in the weft will allow for fitted creations such as drop-waist dresses. While it’s nearly opaque, a lining is suggested for additional comfort, as well as if applicable for your design.
