HOW TO CARE FOR WOOL FABRICS:
Dry-cleaning is recommended, though some wools can take hand washing. Always test a swatch first if you are going to care for your wool fabrics at home rather than using a drycleaner. Many of the fine wools Mood sells online and in-store have already been "sponged," or preshrunk, but you can preshrink your wool if necessary. Mood recommends taking your uncut wool fabric to the drycleaners and asking them to steam it for you, which will safely preshrink it more effectively than you can using home methods. These care instructions given are for Wool Fabrics in general, however, Mood Fabrics does not accept responsibility for fabrics that are incorrectly laundered/damaged by following these instructions. Customers must test a swatch before laundering any fabrics at home to avoid damaging the goods. |
Italian Pastel Pink Creped Wool Double Cloth
Out of stock
Carefree all summer long, our Italian Pastel Pink Creped Wool Double Cloth, similar to a Beauty Rose, will transition well into spring! Showing off tightly twisted yarns for its textural surface, we oh-so-love how they enable a wrinkle-resistant facing and a coarse, crisp hand. Of a heavyweight, this breathtaking wonder prioritizes structure over drape while consistently providing a flattering fit. Challenge yourself with tailored, cold-weather friendly silhouettes: Extend your work wardrobe intro trendy blazer dresses or boyfriend jackets; opt for classic single or double-breasted suits; step into an A-line skirt or pair of flat-front pants; bundle up in a frock or skating coat, and more. Consider incorporating a high-quality lining for comfort, dimensional stability, and aid in preventing the fine yarns from unraveling at the seams as well as for a professional feel. For applications that call for fusible interfacing, instead, try cotton voile or batiste for more naturally flowing looks. Also note, beginning as two separate fabrics (joined by an extra yarn through the weft), double cloth fabrics quickly stack up in thickness, but don't fret, as they can easily be pulled apart—making them ideal for de-bulking seams. To complete your design, be sure to check out our array of blazer buttons too!
