Lizard Skin – considered a type of exotic leather, lizard skin leather is harvested from three major species of lizard. Each of them produces up to 3 square feet of material, making lizard skins suitable for smaller projects like bags, boots, and other leather accessories. Lizard skins are relatively thinner than other exotic leathers. They also lack calcium (present in materials like crocodile), which means they are softer and much more flexible than other exotic leather materials. Lizard hides are easy to bleach and dye, so precise color results are attainable. This makes lizard skin an extremely useful and fun material to use in your creations.
