Jersey dresses have been my saving grace these last few weeks of pregnancy, not only are they extremely comfortable but they can also be made into pretty much every pregnancy fashion style humanly possible. I vowed I would not resort to stretch pants and long tshirts and I’ve managed to stay true to my vow I made 9 months ago. I day dream about all the amazing clothes I plan to make after my baby is born.This dress was made with this jersey fabric from Mood Fabrics. It’s a medium/heavy weight 2-way stretch fabric perfect for dresses and tops. This fabric sews and irons very well.The pattern used for this dress was a burdastyle downloadable pattern. I NEVER comment on web sites but I’m making an exception. You look lovely. When I was expecting I looked like someone found my air nozzle and blew. Some women gain weight everywhere and look like the stay puff marshmallow man and some women just get a beautiful baby belly. You, lucky lady, are the latter while I was the former. Congratulations.
I think the addition of the ruffle hem balances the dress very well, and also makes it flirty. I like the thicker neckline, it makes the outfit streamline. Kudos!
