Fun and Easy DIY- How to Make a “No Sew” Ribbon and Tulle Tutu

Need a break from your sewing machine? Here’s a quick and easy no sewing needed DIY project, sure to brighten any little girl’s day!

This tulle tutu is perfect for dress up, play time, a princess theme birthday party or just because it’s cute!

• Shrimp Solid Nylon Tulle
• American Beauty Solid Nylon Tulle
• 1.5″ Hot pink double face French Satin Ribbon

First I measured my daughter’s waist using the actual ribbon. Tie a bow in the back to the desired size and cut.

I’m using 3 different colors of tulle for blended color effect. Cut each color tulle into long strips about 2-3″ wide. (Cut to desired length when done)

Once all of the strips are cut, you can start to loop each strip directly onto the ribbon using a simple slip knot.

keep alternating colors as shown. Make sure to leave out some ribbon for the bow that will be tied at back.

It should look like this when done!
