While the fashion trends of fall are certainly worth noting, the colors of fall are just as important! Fashion wouldn’t be the same without them, and this season the spread is full of variety. They are a continuation of the optimistic shades from summer with some muted tones to channel the classic darker shades associated with fall. With colors of fiery reds, bold pinks, and vibrant yellows, we also saw rich tones of browns and more muted offerings.
Achieve a transitional wardrobe with ease by including the yellow, pink, and fun colors of summer right into the autumn season, bringing out the colors of fall’s past to embody the trending colors for this fall.
Greater Greens
Shades of green vary from bright and optimistic to more deep shade ranges. For those that love the shade of bright leprechaun green, you’re in luck because this color is bright, joyful, and full of intense color. Army green (a long-time favorite of mine) is also trending for fall. It’s a traditionally warmer tone, while leprechaun green is a lot cooler.

Clay Orange
This shade of orange is truly a must-have in any fall wardrobe. It’s deep with reddish undertones that channel the salt-of-the-earth essence. This comes in a few different shades that teeter the line of reddish-orange to a more brown-toned orange. No matter the exact hue, clay orange is a perfect shade for any fall wardrobe.

Fiery Red
This color is coming in red hot (literally). The power of red is specially tailored for those with a maximalist style of dressing. However, with a little careful crafting, fiery red is easy to adapt into a more minimalist wardrobe. Designers took different routes on the fall runways with this color, showcasing delicate designs with tulle and more rigid and angular pieces highlighting the versatility of the color.

Plenty of Pink
Fall is full of pink, but not in one shade. The first pink is the only bold fuchsia pink is a statement color that will pair beautifully with neutral colors of gray, camel, or ivory. Fuchsia pink will blend seamlessly with other saturated colors and trends of fall. Designers showcased glittery pairings, tight silhouettes, and head-to-toe fuchsia ensembles. On a softer and much more delicate note, a frosty pink shade made its mark on many fall runways, and most notably paired with bolder shades like mandarin orange and burgundy.

Illuminating Yellow
Yellow has remained a trending color throughout 2021. As Illuminating was one of the Pantone Colors of the Year, this is no surprise. This color is very bright and cheery, pairing well with other bright colors as well as more neutral shades like its costar, ultimate gray, the other Pantone color of the year, that provides a bit of relaxed sophistication to any look.

The balance between muted and bold is quite in sync this fall which is perfect for fashion wearers that prefer the colors associated with certain seasons. There are brights for the lovers of summer and darker shades for those that revel in the more toned-down shades of fall.
