Essential Tips Before You Begin:

• Make sure your workspace has proper ventilation. An exhaust fan and open windows will work best
• Wear a face mask to avoid inhalation
• Safety gloves should be worn to prevent the glue from coming in contact with the skin.

Step 1: 

For best results, the surface should be clean and free of dirt or debris. Use a dry towel to clean the surface of your shoes wear you intent to place the applique.

Step 2:

Once you remove the applique from the packing, some cardboard may still be attached to the backing. Use an Exacto knife to scrape and remove it carefully. Before applying the applique, test the size of the area. Once you have decided on the position you like, use chalk or disappearing ink to trace the outline of the applique.

Step 3: 

Next, apply a coat of your glue to the backing of the applique. Use a toothpick or tip to spread the glue to the edges of the applique. Place the applique where you previously marked it for precision. Press and hold the applique in place for at least 3mins.

Depending on the size of your applique, you may want to opt for a more heavy-duty adhesive, such as E-6000 permanent glue.

Step 4: 

Allow for drying and curing 24 hours before use. Then, enjoy your wearing your newly updated accessories!
