How to sew the Salute Cowl-Neck Blouse:
1- Fold the front facing toward the inside of the blouse.
2- Right sides together, pin the front of the blouse to the back and sew at the shoulder seams.
3- Pin and sew the side seams together.
4- Pin the sleeve closed and sew at the underarm seams.
5- To add elastic cuffs to the sleeves, create a casing and leave a small opening about 1″ before fully closing it. Measure out how much elastic you would need for your wrists, then use a safety pin to pass the elastic through the casing.
6- Use a zig-zag stitch to sew both ends together of the elastic. Finish the cuffs by sewing the entry opening closed.
7- To set-in the sleeve, first use a long stitch to create a basting along the top of the sleeve, 1/4″ from the edge. Slightly pull the thread to curl the top with ease.
8- Right sides together, pin and sew the sleeve onto the armhole.
9- Finish the raw edges at the back of the neckline and the bottom of the blouse with a rolled hem.
10- As the final touch, thread a needle and hand-sew the silk buttons to the top of the shoulders.
Infuse every stitch with love and creativity to create pieces that truly resonate with your artistic vision. Let your passion for sewing be your guiding force and keep stitching your dreams into reality!

Love the way this blouse looks
Ohh! Oh! I will do it! Is beautiful. The design, the fabric… Where can I get the boots? I like everything in itself.
Love, love, love your pattern, MIKE SIBAJA!
It’s simple enough that even beginning sewers should be able to handle it and the pattern hackers like myself will have endless fun hacking it all the way to Paradise and back.
I hope Heaven will send you a special blessing for being kind enough to provide even us plus-sized folks with a copy of your pattern in our sizes! Few things are more disheartening than to go pattern shopping only to find out that the big four commercial pattern companies have little to offer in the largest sizes.
THANK YOU!
