Here’s How To Sew
First, start with measuring out the fabric for your headband. Let’s do 7″ for the width and the length should equal the circumference of your head plus an additional 6 inches for the knot. Here are the measurements for my headband: 7″x 27″
Next, fold your fabric in half lengthwise, pin, and sew a straight seam across the top. Make sure you are adjusting your machine’s settings to stretch stitch.
Once you’ve completed your seam across the top, turn your fabric right side out.
Make sure your seam is centered on the wrong side of the headband. Grab both ends and make a loose tie in the center. Now pin the ends together and stitch.
Now, began to form the knot by gently pulling on the headband from each side. Adjust the knot so that it is covering the seam.
Lastly, choose the stones you would like to add! Sew on each handpicked button to customize your own look! That’s it, you’re done.
