Whether you’re combating the Quarantine Fifteen, or you’re a seasoned workout vet, activewear that you feel comfortable in is a must when it comes to exercising. What better way to make sure your garments are tailored perfectly to you than by making them yourself? From sports bras and tops to shorts and leggings, we’ve (literally) got you covered for all of your gym needs.

For this outfit above, I used two of Mood’s easiest activewear patterns. The Erinus Shorts weren’t altered at all. They feature two flattering side curves and an inner gusset for full movement and extra comfort. Download them here!
The Almond Bodysuit is cute and practical. I sewed this one with some contrast tricot, and cut the sleeves short for a summer workout outfit.

I’d like to learn how to make sports bras, but I’m finding Mood’s selection of compression and power mesh fabrics to be overwhelming. Any chance you have a guide or tutorial about the differences, and recommendations for use?
Hi Megan, we don’t have one at the moment, but it’s certainly something we can look into making! 🙂
