HOW TO CARE FOR WOOL FABRICS:
Dry-cleaning is recommended, though some wools can take hand washing. Always test a swatch first if you are going to care for your wool fabrics at home rather than using a drycleaner. Many of the fine wools Mood sells online and in-store have already been "sponged," or preshrunk, but you can preshrink your wool if necessary. Mood recommends taking your uncut wool fabric to the drycleaners and asking them to steam it for you, which will safely preshrink it more effectively than you can using home methods. These care instructions given are for Wool Fabrics in general, however, Mood Fabrics does not accept responsibility for fabrics that are incorrectly laundered/damaged by following these instructions. From the depths of Italy, here is a lightweight Italian Tan Stretch Silk and Wool Woven. With an extremely soft hand, it features a little bit of lycra to add enough stretch for comfortable wearing ease. Boasting a lustrous, medium tan color with ivory threads peeking through, it makes for a slightly heathered complexion. Stretching nicely through the weft and offering a relaxed, flexible drape, it is perfect for all sorts of garment applications, like jackets, palazzo pants, shirts, and more. Translucent when stretched, a lining may be desired for increased opacity depending on its application.
