Inspired by Japanese poet Yoshida Kenkō, the online Mood Exclusive Kenkō Collection features fabrics ranging from exquisite floral motifs to prints that celebrate Kenkō’s thoughts on the beauty in impermanence.

Exclusive to Mood, The Kenkō Collection is inspired by the Japanese poet Yoshida Kenkō and his work Tsurezuregusa (Essays in Idleness). Spanning exquisite floral motifs, interior notions, dear objects, and more, the prints seemingly celebrate his thoughts on aesthetics and the beauty in impermanence. “Should we look at the spring blossoms only in full flower, or the moon only when cloudless and clear? To long for the moon with the rain before you, or to lie curtained in your room while the spring passes unseen, is yet more poignant and deeply moving.” With fabrics ranging from domestic scenes (In The Lamp Light) to others enthused by nature (Conversation in Fragments), (Merry Beyond Measure), they are titled in admiration of the centuries-old writing. Produced in Spain, the Mood Exclusive Kenkō Collection comprises lush cotton sateens, textural crepes, and airy cotton voiles that pen themselves into your everlasting wardrobe.
