Cotton Sateen Fabric

Sateen Fabric has a particularly glossy surface, allowing an otherwise dull fabric the opportunity to shine. With only one interlace between each warp and weft, Sateen's softness is maximized and amplified through the mercerization process, a process in which the fabric is soaked in a sodium hydroxide bath followed by an acid bath. With excellent drape and natural breath-ability, cotton sateen is often used in luxury bedding, linens, and lingerie.
