HOW TO CARE FOR WOOL FABRICS:
Dry-cleaning is recommended, though some wools can take hand washing. Always test a swatch first if you are going to care for your wool fabrics at home rather than using a drycleaner. Many of the fine wools Mood sells online and in-store have already been "sponged," or preshrunk, but you can preshrink your wool if necessary. Mood recommends taking your uncut wool fabric to the drycleaners and asking them to steam it for you, which will safely preshrink it more effectively than you can using home methods. These care instructions given are for Wool Fabrics in general, however, Mood Fabrics does not accept responsibility for fabrics that are incorrectly laundered/damaged by following these instructions. Customers must test a swatch before laundering any fabrics at home to avoid damaging the goods. |

Carve into exquisite designs similar as one would a pumpkin, taking inspiration from the brownish-black lines which form a grid over the miniature orange-shaded basket-weave patterns. Soft and mildly "scratchy" on the facing, the reverse side is somewhat softer in comparison with its web-like construction. Standing at about 1.25mm in depth, this medium is solid, offering opacity, thermal retention, and structure. Of a light heavyweight and with a mainly stiff, yet semi-flexible drape, envision a multitude of cold-weather friendly ensembles: Strut out into the snow in a clutch or straight coat; grab a warm hug from an avant-garde, oversized work of art; keep it classy in a frock or double-breasted coat, and more! We suggest incorporating China silk, Bemberg or another lining fabric to aid in insulating warmth and preventing seam slippage; it is also recommended to finish off seams with pinking shears and/or zig-zag stitches.
