HOW TO CARE FOR WOOL FABRICS:
Dry-cleaning is recommended, though some wools can take hand washing. Always test a swatch first if you are going to care for your wool fabrics at home rather than using a drycleaner. Many of the fine wools Mood sells online and in-store have already been "sponged," or preshrunk, but you can preshrink your wool if necessary. Mood recommends taking your uncut wool fabric to the drycleaners and asking them to steam it for you, which will safely preshrink it more effectively than you can using home methods. These care instructions given are for Wool Fabrics in general, however, Mood Fabrics does not accept responsibility for fabrics that are incorrectly laundered/damaged by following these instructions. Customers must test a swatch before laundering any fabrics at home to avoid damaging the goods. |
Italian Black Olive and Abbey Stone Herringbone Wool Suiting

Puzzling is how a zig and a zag can produce such a dizzying design! Presenting our Italian Black Olive and Abbey Stone Herringbone Wool Suiting. Perfect for tailored silhouettes, here, we have a medium-weight suiting option offering not only a crisp hand, but a stiff drape too. Within the striped pattern, black and ivory yarns alternate their diagonal directions, thus producing the formerly mentioned dizzying pattern. Great for introducing to your office-friendly wardrobe, sew away countless suiting silhouettes such as your classic three-piece or pant suits; or opt for trendy blazer dresses, (tailored) sleeveless jackets, two-button blazers, and more. Opaque and of a thinner construction, incorporating a high-quality lining will ensure comfort and dimensional stability while aid in preventing yarn from unraveling at the seams. To complete your design, be sure to check out our array of blazer buttons too!
