Great for coating and winter apparel, here is a collection of Solid Boiled Wools comprised of 60% viscose and 40% 'Laine' or wool. The combination of the two fibers offers a soft, nubby surface atop a thicker, lightweight base. Although opaque over-all, random sheer pockets in the weave give it a touch of visible dimension. The drapability is perfect for flirty dresses and skirts. A lining is suggested for more structured garments and added comfort. Do note that this boiled wool provides a notable stretch along the crosswise grain.
Note: Hand washing or dry cleaning this fabric is recommended. Do not tumble dry or bleach this material. Can be ironed on the lowest setting. Dry clean with any solvent except tetrachlorethylene. This boiled wool weighs 620g/m.
