Braid Trim

Braided Trim can add elegance to any ensemble. A braid, otherwise known as a plait, is made when three strands are laid over one another to create a patterned rope. Both the Celtics and the Vikings used braids centuries ago, and they often utilized the plants and animals that were available to them to create these beautiful plaits. During the Industrial Revolution, braiding equipment became much more advanced, which sped up their production. Braided trim can add a Grecian touch to a flowing blouse, or a chic look to a simple purse.
