Skirt Fabrics

Skirts are draped garments covering a portion of the lower body. In the Western world, skirts are worn more commonly by women, but worldwide, they are staples of many traditional male garments. Most skirts worn today are made of light to mid-weight fabrics—e.g., cotton sateen, jersey, denim—and fitted to the body at the waist or hips.
